Weekly Speaking Reflection HW 04
This week I have twice conversation times.
One is I told with Greg ( Pei-chen and my mutual friend) on phone. He called us on Monday night. He told me about the rock concert that he went at night and I told him my school life and my family. During our conversation, I told him I have a presentation on speaking tomorrow and I feel nervous. He taught me a way, which comes from his father, can keep nervous away. He said I can image what kind of underwear that audiences wear. It sounds good and funny idea, but I didn’t try because I really too nervous to forget everything. Although this idea didn’t work, I still want to say thank you to Greg.
The other one is talked with John on Wednesday afternoon. At first, we talked about “ the Moon Festival ”. This Sunday is the Moon Festival in Asia, and I sent mail to John to tell him “ Happy Moon Festival ”. He is interesting in this day, so he want me to tell him more details about this holiday. I told him the Moon Festival that is a day in the Chinese calendar to tell us full is coming. We were an agricultural country. Most of Chinese festivals are happened during the season transitions. These are depend on sun, moon, and weather. I tried to tell John everything that I know. I still forget some meanings of them because those stories are too old. I’ll check more details about them and tell him.
